Sheree Coleman

Regional Manager - Sutherland Shire

ScopeIT Education

As a strong believer in equipping children with skills that will prepare them for the future, local franchise owner Sheree Coleman knows the importance of understanding ICT subjects.

Her business ScopeIT Education - Sutherland Shire, certainly has this at the forefront of its daily operation. They are all about educating students in the latest, world-class IT and technology skills by providing “…new MacBook Air laptops, 3D printer, internet, cutting-edge software and structured lessons to ensure a ScopeIT class is fun, interactive and educational.”

Sheree believes that heading into the future “If our children don’t have a thorough understanding of ICT subjects, they will be at a severe disadvantage”. Students are being taught from a very young age the necessary skills and knowledge of coding, 3D printing, digital citizenship, app and website development, which will ultimately give them the best start to their future adult career prospects.

With an extensive career in television and video editing and production, Sheree is certainly a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to multi-media platforms. Not only has Sheree presented, edited and produced her own community TV show, but she has also travelled the world extensively to film a documentary series, and holds degrees in both Human Resources and Psychology. All of this certainly points to a hard working woman and Sheree herself agrees, that is what it takes to be successful in business.

“Don’t under-estimate the amount of work it takes to make a business successful! Time, effort, perseverance, discipline and self-confidence are pivotal in your continued success.”

When she does find some down time, Sheree enjoys swimming, making crafts, coding and playing video games with her two children and loves everything Sci-Fi. She says her own children are her inspiration and greatest supporters. And being so ‘in’ to computers herself, it’s no doubt her kids think their mum is the coolest!
