I am the owner of Femme Fatale beauty and skincare. I bought the salon in 2007 and I love it!

I have always wanted my own salon and have had experience in managing salons, training and education with cosmetic physicians, promotions and sales, all little steps to get me here today.

I often get asked what my favorite part of my job is, and I like it all really (sad but true) although I enjoy advanced results driven skincare and treatments such as Ultra Resurfacing Microdermabrasion, Ultrasonophresis, TCA Peels and medical grade skincare. I love giving a solution to client concerns and seeing my clients relaxed and happy!

There also comes a time when the owner of any business has to take a step back and work ‘on’ the business instead of ‘in’ it. After all, if a business doesn’t grow, improve, offer even better service to clients, it’ll sooner rather than later just kind of fade away…… and I don’t want that to happen.

I moved into a new role as ‘Beauty Director’ (sounds so important, doesn’t it…but I’ll still be me) in March 2011 of the salon.

‘Er, what does Beauty Director mean?’ I hear you ask…

Frankly, it’s just a cute title…and it doesn’t mean I won’t be around to make sure our clients (like you) are looked after properly.

In fact, things have been even better…it’ll means I can concentrate on the things that make our salon so good, and ensure they not only stay good, but get better.

Like, for example, making sure my staff get better at their craft, And taking time to ensure all the little details are attended to , that bookings are kept up to date and on time, that our products are always the latest and the best…Like the new non chip 14 day Nail color "SHELLAC"-( yes no chips for 14 days!) and lots of other odds and ends that keep a salon running like a well-oiled machine!

…and I’m completely confident you’ll find every one my staff a absolute pleasure to deal with. (Don’t tell her them – but just quietly, their actually better at doing treatments than I am!)

All of our therapists are friendly, talented and enthusiastic, they all specialise in specific areas and will bend over backwards to give you a WOW experience!...I believe this is what makes my skin care salon unique and different from regular salons.

We do all your Traditional Treatments and also have a in salon doctor that performs anti aging injectables and fillers every fortnight on a Wednesday.

My Mum (Maureen) also a Proprietor helps out keeping the salon running smoothly and does a lot of work behind the scenes! You will often see her behind reception too. Katie has been promoted to Salon Manager so you will often see her behind reception helping me out with the day to day running of the business.

I’ve had a little girl “Zoë” and am working in the salon part-time now. I’m very lucky to have such a dedicated talented team so I can be a mum too!!
